Default I have some questions

I've been gone for about 18 months to the big sand box and now that I'm back there are of course alot of things that have changed. Armour for instance. Is it all the same and now you have to add "insignias" to get the extra effects like more energy, damage reduction, ect..... I also heard about "ferrying", what's that? Can you win your own ship or boat? I guess getting home, logging on, and then paying attention to what people say might answer some of these questions, but if memory serves me well the widest collection of answers will usually come from guru. Thanks in advance.

1. yes, armor effects are now handles by insignias.

2. ferrying is like running someone somewhere except without any actual running, just teleporting through talking to an NPC while the right conditions are met.

3. there are no player vehicles of any sort

4. welcome back

Thanks. Will it change my char if I had say Glads or Dragon Aromour before I left. Will they still be the same or would I have to get insignias to make them like they were?

All you have remains the same. Your gladiator armour was just replaced with radiant gladiator armour.

The only differences encountered appear to be with some collector armour with +1 attribute bonuses. Otherwise, all armour remains exactly the same.

Another question. What is "hard mode vanquishing?" and does it apply to all 3 campaigns? Do you have to finish a campaign before you can vanquish?

when you finish a campaign on any character, all of your level 20 characters then have access to hard mode for that campaign. to vanquish a zone, you need to kill all enemies in it while in hard mode.

Max AL armor retain their stats, all lower armor lost them, and the insignia's need to be placed on them.

Hard Mode is unlocked account based, once you beat a campaign with at least one character. Afterwards, all level 20 characters on your account can play in it for that campaign. Each campaign needs to be unlocked seperatly.

What hard mode is, is basically greatly increased difficulty for all areas of the game, except pre-searing. The Guardian title is available for completing all missions and bonus objectives of each mission in a campaign, and the Vanquisher title is available for killing every monster in each explorable zone in a campaign - both while playing in hard mode.
